It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Seth Hufford, a cherished member of the Ayadee Foundation family. Seth, born on August 31, 1974, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023, after bravely facing a rare and aggressive carcinoma.
A Life Well-Lived
Seth, survived by his wife Dorie L. Taylor and their two sons Nevins and Miles Taylor Hufford, left an enduring legacy of love and compassion. With a Master of Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, Seth dedicated his career to civic leadership programs and transformative dialogues.
Identity and Purpose
When asked to define himself, Seth humbly responded, “I am a father, husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend.” Motivated by a deep sense of purpose, he stated, “I am doing this work for my two children and future generations so that they can live in a world with more love and compassion.”

Seth’s influence reached beyond professional achievements. He co-founded The People Group, contributed to youth democracy, and played a significant role in community projects. His dedication to relationships and his profound impact on others, including healthcare professionals during his illness, exemplify a life well-lived.
